My Mantra –
NO MARGIN.
One false move and you can lose all your trading cash. start small. As you get more experienced your money will grow naturally. Small mistakes you can fix, large mistakes are much more difficult.

AIG was be a best stock to invest if you plan to invest for a long term, because AIG is too big to fail and beside AIG no longer need government bailout money. if you invest in AIG are now you returning profit is 10-30 times in 3-5 years.

Interactive Broker offers the lowest interest rates on margin accounts. They also offer relatively generous amount of margin, but not as much as they used to, since the big meltdown last year.
Also, if you’re daytrading, you need to consider trading fees, and again Interactive Broker is very low.
