Day Trading and Swing Trading Techniques

What online broker do you use for day trading?

I’ve done some minimal day trading in the past and am looking to get more serious with it. I know you need a minimum $25,000.00 balance and all….I’m just curious to hear from other day traders which broker they use and if they are happy with the service. Thank you.

I have used Scottrade for several years with very good service. Buy/sell execution speed is very fast (usually within 1-3 seconds) and they also have local offices with real people to help you.

    Still $7 per trade.

i am using sogotrade. Personally, I think Sogotrade is best among all online brokerages. You can get a lot of free trades: about 100 free trades with 500 minimum deposits. It has very good customer services, it also has live help, and you can chat with representatives about any question. After that, only 3 dollar for each trade, pretty sweet when compared with other online brokerages.

I use Scottrade but there are many of them out there to try from. Its free to open an account and I believe a $500 minimum initial investment is required. This way you can make all your own investment decisions and use the tools and reports provided by Scottrade. All the online dealers have different rates, but Scottrade only charges $7 per transaction so you never have to worry about what you will be charged.

If you open an account and use: PVMI2081 as your referral code, you will get 3 free trades to start with. Here is a link to their web site:

Scottrade transactions go through virutally instantly. I was very impressed with how quick my transactions are carried out and that my funds are available for trading immediately.
