We follow about 20 sectors and know the the major players (usually about 4 or 5). We also use alerts with volume filters to find trades. It’s too much to go over but I would recommend checking out our webinars were we discuss everything. Yes, I’m currently hedged with SDS in swing trading account to lock in some nice gains I’ve had this year.

Hello Andy and Steve, I am aware that you use sector analysis in your trading and I was wondering whether you could tell me more about what stocks you take a look at (or where did you find it) and how many sectors do you recoginze etc. I am also very interested in your hedging techniques, I spotted that you used FAZ, FAS and now even SDS..do you have any tips for that also? It would be much appreciated ;) thank you for your kind response and that you help us begining traders!
